What We Did
This exclusive development benefits from picturesque views of the countryside and open space. Located just over a mile from Newton Abbot town centre the development is close to shops and schools as well as leisure facilities such as golf courses and Newton Abbot Race course.
This is a multi phase development and involves a variety of building designs and both Redland concrete plain tiles and Russell Lothian concrete interlocking tiles were specified, both replicate the traditional appearance of small format slate or plain tiles with the advantages of quick and easy installation reducing labour and costs. Sarnafil single ply is installed to all the flat roofs for the bay windows.
Western Counties Roofing deploys an average of four roofers, two leadsmith and two single ply operatives. One of the challenges faced during this project was the production pace for the housing association properties, made more difficult during winter months with server rain hampering progress.
