All Renaissance Villages have been designed to provide energy efficient, sustainable, luxurious homes and in most cases surpassing the standards required of the home building industry by the Government.
Due to the eco friendly requirements of the brief Fibre cement slate, an alternative to natural slate were specified for the pitched roofs. Fibre cement slates consist of layers of cellulose, reinforcing fibre and cement. Designed to mimic the appearance of natural slate, fibre cement slates have the same form and thickness with all the economic, functional and environmentally friendly qualities of modern slate technology. These slates can achieve a A+ rating making them ideal roof covering for the development to provide a sustainable, energy efficient homes.
This development is a multi phased development and involves extremely complex building designs with staggered roofs, dormas and gardens rooms all incorporated in to the main roof. Sarnfil single ply was installed to all the flat roof areas which included large apartment blocks, garden rooms and bin stores.
Western Counties Roofing deployed a team on four slaters and two single ply trained and approved operative to be on site when necessary.
