With a century of experience Sandtoft is the undisputed market leader in clay pantiles. Clay Pantiles are becoming more popular than ever before and are renowned for their distinctive ‘S’ profile that creates a series of ridges and furrows that produce one of the most elegant roofscapes available.

Sandtoft Clay Pantiles are designed to reflect the history behind what is one of the most eye-catching roof tile designs ever created. Sandtoft offer a choice of five different types:

Greenwood

A classical handmade pantile made by traditional methods, using long-established craftsmanship and techniques. The Greenwood will soon weather to a mature appearance and is perfect for conservation project.

Old English

A traditional English pantile offering beauty by design. This classic shape, with its carefully proportioned profile, creates a long-lasting and beautiful roof. Available in a choice of three colours.

Arcadia

Another exciting development from Sandtoft, Arcadia is a new pantile which has all the charm and colour of an aged, reclaimed product.

Neo Pantile

A new generation clay pantile that offers the fixing and associated cost advantages of a concrete tile, with the kerb appeal and character of natural clay.
County – The County pantile combines the aesthetics of a traditional pantile with modern interlocking tile design. With its double interlocks for improved performance the County is suitable for roofs with pitches as low as 22.5º and comes with a complete range of dry fix and ventilated roofing systems.

About Pantiles

One of the countries classic roof tile designs, traditionally made from clay in a large ‘S’ shape tile which would be linked together rather than overlapped like plain tiles. Manufactures have since developed the pantile in to a single lap interlocking system which enables the pantile to be laid at a lower pitch, and it is available in different profiles and can be in a single or double form. This was evolutionary to the industry as requires fewer materials, reduces the load on the roof and is less labour intensive.
