Alwitra offer environmentally friendly roof waterproofing: Evalastic® is an outstanding roofing membrane that has proven that advanced building materials can offer both ecologically and economically sound solutions. Evalastic® roofing and waterproofing membranes are high-quality EPDM membranes for single ply roofing of all kinds of construction and application methods including the waterproofing of foundations.
Alwitra Evalastic® offers high quality, long term reliable roof sealing with more than 20 years practical experience. Suitable for new builds, refurbishment, ventilated or non ventilated roofs, green roofs and industrial roofs, simple joining procedures means installation is quick and efficient, therefore a preferred choice for roofers.
Evalastic® is compatible with bitumen and can be directly applied on all standard bituminous layers and insulation materials.
There are a number of methods for installing Alwitra Evalastic®, Evalastic offers different membranes for different fixing methods:
EVALATIC®V is a reinforced membrane with a polyester-fleece backing with excellent characteristics, incorporating an integrated cushioning layer and idea for refurbishment.
Suitable fixings include:
- Mechanically fixed – Suitable roof covering on flat and low pitched roofs with limited access.
- Fully Adhered – Suitable roof covering on flat and low pitched roofs with limited access.
- EVALASTIC® is un-backed and a combines waterproofing and root penetration protection for green roofs.

Suitable fixings include:
- Loose laid with ballast – Suitable roof covering on flat and low pitched roofs ballasted with gravel or any other material approved by Alwitra.
