This course is ideally suited for individuals who are interested in becoming a roof tiler. This course is designed to provide you with the basic practical skills and general knowledge which can support you gain employment within the industry. Your knowledge of different products, tools, techniques and problem solving methods will develop as practical tasks complement theory lessons, delivered in our fully equipped workshops and classrooms. Upon completion, you may progress to an apprenticeship or employment. Whilst there are no formal entry requirements for this course, you must have a genuine interest and be committed to achieving the qualification.

This Course Will Teach You:

• Health and Safety and Welfare in Construction.
• Knowledge of Technology in the Construction Industry.
• Knowledge of Technical Information, quantities and communication with others.
• How to install roofing backgrounds and ancillary components.
• How to install single-lap roof coverings to basic roof details.
• How to strip and reclaim single-lap roof tiles.
